My Sister's Keeper is a great movie that is thought-provoking and moving. Some reviewers have said that it is overly sentimental, but I did not find it that way. I think it is well worth going to see.
Unlike many movies, the one piece of foul language in the movie has a point, partly because it is the only expletive in the entire film and is in the movie for a reason.
The characters are well developed and the story gets you involved and time passed more quickly than in many movies for this fidgety geezer with a short attention span.
The soundtrack suits and enhances the story, but was not a highlight for me. However I did enjoy Jeff Buckley's performance of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's We All Fall In Love Sometimes, played during the closing credits. One other couple stayed behind to hear it with us. I don't understand why people walk out during the credits: sometimes it is the best part of the whole show.
